that is what i did on the weekend.
do i get exponentially more boring the longer i have no money?
by missing out on the many parties and funs that were had on the weekend i did get to catch up on h. potter movies though.

so.. im feeling kind of cranky..
cranky enough to chuck up some angsty electro (or elektr0) rock??

Hadouken - Declaration of War (Hadouken vs Kissy Sell Out Remix)

Hadouken - Declaration of War (Mason Vocal Remix)

Hadouken - Declaration of War (The Whip Remix)
sorry had to use zshare for those tracks.. has anyone noticed the shit GTA4 flash animation on the download page??? worst ever?

i am led to believe that hadouken are somewhat.. something. certainly having songs out on kitsune would make them a something.. but after being a laggard and finally listening to their album yesterday im not convinced.. i think their music sounds really juvenile.. maybe im just being a cock.. these remixes are pretty funtastic though.

In better news, i heard duchess says for the first time yesterday.. very gooood grimy and/or gritty electro rock.. would imagine that they would be nicenice to see live. hmm the more i listen to it the more i think that Black Flag sounds a bit like one of the MSTRKRFT rocky remixes.. yeah? maybe the Panthers remix that they did?

Duchess Says - Black Flag

Duchess Says - Cut Up

Duchess Says - Black Flag (Vs Treu)

On their CD one of the other remixes is by a group called Pirate Sound System.. does anyone else think that that is a pretty av name for a group? how important is having a good name for a group? has any one else noticed the shitty aussie town names that bands are adopting these days?
i know that im not alone in thinking that Grafton Primary is a shit name for a band (good band though). and has anyone heard of uber half aussie band lismore?!?! i actually think that that is the shittest band name ive heard in a while.
do these aussie band names sound exotic and etc overseas because people there havent heard of the towns?
EVERYONE STOP NAMING YOUR BAND AFTER AN AUSTRALIAN CITY OR TOWN. IT SOUNDS STUPID. IT DOESNT MATTER IF YOU LOST YOUR VIRGINITY THERE OR IF THAT IS WHERE YOU PLAYED YOUR FIRST SHOW.
