I've been listening to a lot of music in the sky with diamonds lately. The stream of aural gems has come from the likes of Memory Tapes, Gang Gang Dance, Bon Iver, New Buffalo, Four Tet and you get the idea.
Then I stand back and look myself in the mirror. I don't know who I am anymore.
I wonder at what point I stopped caring about bangers. Uh-huh.
I've tried to change this with The Count and Sinden. I've been listening to their 2010 release Mega Mega Mega and it brings back all the fidgety feelings I had as a member of the Banger School of Thought.

I heard this Canblaster remix of 'Future' during an FBi Radio stream the other day. Honestly, I felt a come-up as I bopped to it on the bus. The choppy samples are so uh-huh.

Steve, I'm getting on a Europe-bound plane on Sunday. You can run. Uh-huh.

I too once liked electro bangers.. Now they border on offensive - these offerings hurt my brain. Seems as though the more you like, listen and hunt down music the more you end up asking 'is that all they are giving us..' But even the so called 'aural gems' are getting fewer. Substance where are you?! And were you ever here to begin with..
