Africastle

Good news! The second part of Battles' four part Dross Glop remix series has just been released.

In stark contrast to the techno/IDM urgings of the previous edition, this release features a rather motley bunch of artists.
Included this time are experimental hip hop proponent Shabazz Palaces, happy hardcore (?) scenester The Alchemist and broken beat/dubstep icon Kode9.

As a techno fan, this release wasn't quite as compelling for me as the first - but one thing that continues to impress me is the diversity and all round quality of artists that are being selected. High fives to the Battles crew.
Really looking forward to scoping out parts 3 & 4.
