Surgeon: anxious techno

I was first introduced to Surgeon's 2005 EP Klonk when Scuba sampled it in his epic Sub:Stance mix, released on Ostgut Ton in 2010.

Scuba created an anxious atmosphere in that mix. He worked soft synth samples over 'Klonk 4' - a nervous, agitated composition.  

On listening to the whole EP, yes, you'll hear techno that bangs hard. Hard like your calves in Krush at 3am/6am/9am.
