How does this work: Elizabeth Jackson's voice sounds kinda off tune but it sounds perfect. It's almost what makes the music of Austin band
Darling New Neighbors so beautiful. Explain THIS.
Darling New Neighbors - LilliputDarling New Neighbors - Indian MoundsThese two tracks are from their upcoming album Rocket which will be available October 15 for sale online and in record stores. I love it, it's kinda
Dido (ie Florian Cloud de Bounevialle O'Malley Armstrong) crossed with
Camera Obscura (ie lots of accordion).

I pondered your question, about her singing...
Let's delve into the "screamo" genre for a second..
you'll find the exact same thing, except the music is heavy and out of tune as well, so it doesn't sound very good...
The rest of the music compliments her voice with ostinatos, backbeats and such.
all in all, I loved it!
good post.
