Take your pants off and dance like you’ve got ADHD motherfuckers. The well-oiled electro obsessive Embryonik has launched a preview of his new track ‘The Trip’, slated for release late 2009 or early 2010.
I don’t think it’s about melting sheets of acid in your mouth while laying naked in a haystack with your hot stepmother, it’s a metaphor for something else. Perhaps a trip from the embryonic stage to adulthood? Or even before this – from backseat pashing to the money shot?
Whatever the song’s about it’s very cute - yet simultaneously grumbly. Kind of like Little Boots in the hands of MSTRKRFT. Oooh, thinking about that takes me toward Parklife and the endless possibilities within the hundreds of hugs i’m about to enforce on all of you.
