my tech house fridays seem to have certainly taken a blow since moving down to melbs. sitting in an office with a girl who loves her chilled hip hop and indie does nothing for my friday afternoon bang off. i desperately need a big dirty techno night out in melbourne town. can someone point me in the right direction?

michael mayer is an absolute master. going to see him at berghain/panorama bar is pretty f'ing high on my european 'to-do' list.
if you havent heard his fabric mix or any of his 'immer' mixtapes, then getting hold of them should be high on your 'to-do' list.

i pulled this track by oni ayhun off optimo's fantastic new fabric mix. it is a motley collection of kraut, techno and older new wave tunes, but 'oar003' is an absolute absolute standout.

i dont think that any of these songs will be playing at sangs party tonight, but i wish they would be. im not sure how these would go being belted out through singstar though.. maybe sticking to classics would be funner.
