Steve and I have relocated from Sydney to Berlin. I don't think my feet have touched the ground yet. Well, they've touched the Berghain dance floor numerous times. Sizzle.

Guys, I'll level with you - I'm leaving Sydney. Leaving for good.

I'm moving soon; leaving my sweet middle-class life und moving to Berlin. To the unknown.

Why would I do that, du ask? Well, mein freund, Sydney has the warm climates und the pretty bitches. But sometimes ein mann needs to break out of die komfort zone.

Superpitcher, Pulshar... Steve

Between all this noise about Daft Punk's new single 'Get Lucky' (Is it real? Is it fake??), it is sometimes easy to forget that there is plenty of other excellent music about.
As perfectly nice as 'Get Lucky' is, I think that a suitable audible mind-number is necessary after all of it's shrill collateral.

Motormännen

Techno Fridays are back. At least for today. It's been a while.

A couple of our Swedish readers - better known as the duo Motormännen - recently got in touch to share a project that they have been working on.
At first glance, it is an investigative report into the impact of pollution in mid 80's East Germany. 

It becomes clear pretty quickly though that the video's soundtrack is the real star of this project  - a spicy dancefloor bomb that they are humbly calling the 'Summer beach hit of the year'..
